The index is small and measures list prices only. Each residential checkpoint rests on 4 or 5 prices, so one change can move a median.

The October 2026 index puts the median list price at $4.00 per GB at 1 GB and 10 GB, and $2.75 at 100 GB. Prices range from $1.00 to $7.00 per GB across those volumes. Proxyway's 2026 research gives a similar $4 entry median. StatesideIP lists $1.50 for 1 GB and $0.52/GB at volume. Every plan, including the smallest, is paid from a $25 minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance (never expires, non-refundable).
The median 30-day list price for a dedicated US port is $130 across 7 sellers, as of October 2026. The range runs from $60 (Proxy Tower) to $150 (GlobalProxies.net, 4G). StatesideIP charges $45 for 30 days on T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon, with no KYC and crypto payment.
Because NetNut is seized, it has no live price to index. Federal agents took its domains on July 2, 2026, so the October edition counts only providers that still sell. The NetNut alternative page covers the timeline and how to judge a replacement's sourcing.
A provider counts only where we verified its price at that exact volume on its own page. Bright Data's price conflicts between sources. Oxylabs, Webshare and ProxyEmpire prices were not re-verified in time. Minimum purchases also exclude some cells: DataImpulse starts at 5 GB.
The index is updated monthly. The next update is due in November 2026, after a fresh check of every provider's own pages. Competitor rows older than 35 days are treated as expired. Each edition keeps its check date, so you can tell which prices a figure rests on.
