Only under conditions: Rayobyte advertises "Residential Proxies from $0.0095/GB". That price applies to Scale Residential, which is priced by concurrency, has no targeting and serves verified businesses only, so it is not a per-GB plan.
On per-GB list prices, StatesideIP is 25% below the lowest price we found at every tier, as of October 2026. DataImpulse lists $1/GB, or $0.8/GB above 1 TB, and charges a small extra fee for state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting. All prices were checked on 2026-10-05.
A targeting fee raises the real price per GB whenever a job needs a state, city or ZIP code. Proxyway's 2026 market research found ZIP targeting at only 5 of 13 providers, against city targeting at all 13.
SOAX includes ZIP and ASN targeting only on Scale ($1,500 per month + VAT) and Enterprise ($3,000 per month + VAT). StatesideIP includes ZIP code targeting and ASN targeting from the 1 GB plan up.
Very low per-GB prices can signal grey-market sourcing. Proxyway's 2026 market research describes "the grey market, where a gigabyte can cost $0.30 or even less". StatesideIP's lowest tier, $0.52/GB on the 1 TB (1,000 GB) plan, stays above that band while remaining 25% below the lowest list price we found for 1 TB.
A low price alone proves nothing about any one provider's sourcing. The sourcing page lists the questions to ask any provider, StatesideIP included.
A cheap plan works for ZIP-level jobs only if ZIP targeting is included and the pool is deep enough in that ZIP. Narrow filters draw on fewer IPs, so success rates can drop on small towns. Test your own targets on a 1 GB plan before you buy volume.
For measured US performance, Proxyway's US test (updated 2026-03-16) is the public reference. The best US residential proxies of 2026 ranks providers on that test.
It depends on volume and targeting. With ZIP targeting included, StatesideIP lists $1.50/GB at 1 GB, $0.75/GB from 5 to 100 GB and $0.52/GB at 1 TB, as of October 2026. Each tier is 25% below the lowest list price we found for that volume. Rayobyte's Scale Residential starts at $0.0095/GB, without targeting and for verified businesses only.
No. DataImpulse's $1/GB covers country targeting. Its site says state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting are "offered for a small extra fee", and the plan starts at 5 GB. StatesideIP charges $0.75/GB at 5 GB with all four targeting levels included (checked 2026-10-05).
At StatesideIP, the cheapest test is the 1 GB plan at $1.50, with full state, city, ZIP and ASN targeting. No free trial — test with the 1 GB plan, paid from the minimum top-up; the rest stays on your balance (never expires, non-refundable). Among rivals, NodeMaven sells a $3.50 trial for 750 MB, and Thordata lists $2.00 for 1 GB. Prices checked on 2026-10-05.
They do, as of October 2026. 100 GB costs $0.75/GB, 25% below DataImpulse's $1/GB. 500 GB costs $0.56/GB, 25% below Shifter's 400 GB plan at $0.75/GB. 1 TB (1,000 GB) costs $0.52/GB, 25% below Rayobyte's $0.70/GB pay-as-you-go rate. Every tier stays above the grey-market band Proxyway describes.
Some do. IPRoyal verifies every client. SOAX runs a Sumsub check if you pay with crypto. Rayobyte's Scale Residential serves verified businesses. StatesideIP, a no-KYC US residential and mobile proxy provider, asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. The no-KYC page explains what StatesideIP keeps.
On a small plan, network fees matter. It also accepts on-chain BTC, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, USDC, ETH, LTC and SOL. SOAX lists BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC and SOL.
At StatesideIP, no: Residential traffic does not expire. SOAX says its Sandbox and monthly credits expire after 60 days. Check expiry before you compare prices per GB.
A low price does not change the legal picture: using a residential proxy is generally legal in the US, and the use is what counts. Check that a cheap provider publishes rules and an abuse contact. StatesideIP supports price monitoring and SEO tracking, and blocks banking, government and payment portals, plus SMTP ports. This is not legal advice.
